STM-3™ Metal Treatment Dosage

Note: (Treating the entire unit will result in reduction of friction and wear and help to achieve maximum overall efficiency and protection.)

Engines - 4cyl to 8 cyl Engines-- Dosage 2 oz. (59 ml) *Required

Automatic Transmission - (Front or Rear wheel drive ) 1 oz. (30 ml) *Recommended

Manual Transmission - 2 oz. (59 ml) *Recommended

Power Steering - 1 oz. (29 ml) *Recommended

Differential - 2 oz. (59 ml) *Recommended

How to treat an engine with STM-3™.

1- Have engine warmed up, ensure vehicle is in park or neutral with parking brake on and wheels blocked.

2- If possible add product with the engine running. If blow by is present shut engine off, add product and immediately start engine after adding product, bring your engines rpm's up to 1500-2000 RPM and hold for 30-60 seconds. This procedure will ensure that STM-3™ coats the entire engine as STM-3™ does not mix with your oil ! The oil is only a carrier of the product as the oil is circulated STM-3™ will coat the metal, Now continue to run engine for no less than 30 minutes,
Preferred method is to drive the vehicle for approximately 50 kilometers. For best results. (Do Not Shut Engine Off) for at Least 30 Minutes after adding STM-3™ to your oil.

Known issues with use of STM-3™ engine treatment.

STM-3™ is intended to help your engine by impregnating a ceramic coating into the metal. This provides a near perfect cylinder seal which increases compression. If you maintain your car as prescribed by the manufacturere you should have no problems. If after treatment you notice a change for the better, then after about 150 kilometers you notice a slight misfire at idle,or poor fuel mileage then chances are you have old/faulty spark plugs or wires. Changing the fuel filter will also insure proper pressure and fuel atomization in the combustion chamber.

Let me explain why.

When compression goes up it will cause more resistance and load on your ignition system parts, if they where marginal (needed replacing) prior to treatment then they may fail.

Remedy:

Replace spark plugs, Check plug wires for arching (replace if necessary)
